Community Involvement
Dr. Colaroutolo and Melissa traveled with Guiamaca, Honduras July 2024 to provide free dental and medical care to community. Over 200 patients were seen by a small group of licensed medical and dental professionals and we provided almost $250,000 worth of dental care. This mission was not possible without the Smile Again Organization and the patients, friends, family and local dental representative that donated money and supplies.
"The Honduras community helped us equally as much as we helped them on so many different levels. Melissa and I will forever be grateful to have had the opportunity to work alongside this amazing group of individuals. In a way this mission trip felt like a rain drop in a huge ocean, in the sense that you quickly realize the NEED is so overwhelming. And you question yoursel.... was it enough? And after a lot of reflection, I realized that rain is what fills an ocean. So please watch and spread kindness where you can, help those in need and together we can pour out more love in this world and fill up someone else's heart.
