MELISSA, Registered Dental Hygienist

Melissa began her dental career in 2016 as a Dental Assistant after completing her training at Monroe 2 BOCES. She later advanced her education at Monroe Community College and has been practicing as a Dental Hygienist since 2021, earning her anesthesia license in 2022. Melissa is passionate about creating a positive, comfortable experience for every patient and believes in treating people—not just teeth.

In 2024, she joined Dr. C on a mission trip to Honduras, providing essential dental care to underserved communities—an experience that strengthened her commitment to helping others.

Outside the office, Melissa and her fiancé, Jamie, are enjoying their first home together, where she loves taking on creative projects and renovations. She also adores spending time with their two cats and their pug, Harley, and can often be found cheering on the Buffalo Bills as they plan their fall 2026 wedding.

ALYSSA, Registered Dental Hygienist

Alyssa completed the MCC Dental Hygiene Program in 2021, earning her associate degree along with a certificate in Admin in LA. As a Registered Dental Hygienist, she is known for being gentle, empathetic, thorough, and deeply knowledgeable—qualities that help even the most hesitant patients feel comfortable in the dental chair.

She is passionate about lifelong learning and is always adapting to new technology and techniques to improve patient care. One of her favorite parts of hygiene is partnering with patients to celebrate progress, whether it’s achieving a major oral-health milestone or making small steps forward.

Outside the office, Alyssa enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading mystery thrillers, and decorating for her two favorite holidays—Halloween and Christmas. She’s also a candle collector with over 200 candles, and loves spending time with her cat, Boy Sprinkle.

Alyssa treasures the family-like environment at BC Dental and values the meaningful relationships she builds with each patient. Her guiding message to those she cares for: “Start small. One thing at a time.”

DEBBIE, Patient Care Coordinator

With an Associate Degree in Business Accounting, Debbie brings expertise, organization, and a calming presence to BC Dental’s front office. As our Business Coordinator, she is committed to providing clear, honest financial guidance so patients can confidently navigate insurance and treatment plans without stress or surprises.

Debbie genuinely enjoys building relationships with patients and loves when they share updates about their lives—moments that remind her of the personal connections at the heart of BC Dental’s philosophy. Her annual goal: a smooth year of treatment planning with zero insurance surprises.

Outside the practice, Debbie enjoys baking, crafting, reading, and puzzles, and she has a special talent for keeping everything running smoothly. She also adores spending time with her dog, Copper, a sweet Beagle/Spaniel mix. Inspired by her grandmother’s kindness and strength, Debbie brings warmth and sincerity to every interaction.

LAUREN, Certified Dental Assistant

Lauren began her dental career after completing the Dental Assisting program at Monroe Community College, where she discovered her passion for helping patients feel genuinely safe and comfortable during their visits. As a Licensed Dental Assistant, she is dedicated to creating a calm, welcoming environment and offering the reassurance patients need to feel at ease.

Originally from Romania, Lauren brings warmth, empathy, and a strong sense of family to BC Dental—values inspired by her mother, whom she credits for shaping her into a confident and independent woman. Her professional goal is simple yet powerful: to continue growing and become the best dental assistant she can be.

Outside of the office, Lauren is a talented singer and pianist and previously performed in high-school musicals. She also enjoys spending time with her two beloved cats, Boo and Winston.
What she loves most about working at BC Dental is the supportive team environment—“a big family,” she says—and the joy of seeing patients leave with brighter smiles than they came in with.

DANA, Treatment Coordinator

Dana brings 18 years of experience in Dentistry, with a strong background in surgical and restorative care. Whether assisting on the clinical side or guiding patients through treatment coordination, her focus is always on delivering exceptional patient care and creating a comfortable, supportive experience. She genuinely loves helping people through their dental journey.

Understanding that a smile is one of the first things others notice. Dana is committed to helping patients feel confident and proud of what they see! “Over the years, I have learned that compassion and truly listening to patients before speaking makes all the difference.”

Outside of the office, Dana is a proud mom to three amazing daughters (17, 15, and 11), who are her daily inspiration. When she’s not helping transform smiles, she can often be found on the soccer field cheering them on. Born and raised in Rochester, NY, Dana values community, connection, and showing up fully in everything she does.

REHNA, Care Coordinator

Rehna Jane is a HIPAA-certified and trained Virtual Assistant with nearly five years of experience as a Dental Customer Care Representative for one of the country’s leading insurance companies. Although she is a licensed teacher in the Philippines, her passion for the dental field inspired her to build a career as a Dental Virtual Assistant. With a strong foundation in customer service, a deep understanding of dental processes, and a genuine commitment to exceptional patient support, she brings both professionalism and warmth to every interaction. Outside of work, she loves going to the beach, exploring outdoor activities, and spending quality time with her family and her beloved fur baby, Putin.
